Our members are companies, academia and the public sector in Sweden. Together we strive to ensure that Sweden is world leading in the development of software, software-intensive products, systems and services.
Gathering Swedish Software
Swedsoft gathers organizations from all over Sweden who are interested in software development. Our strength lies in the great diversity of members. Here are some of our largest Swedish companies, startups and other SME companies from different industries with academia, institutes, organizations and more. Together in the association, we work to support Swedish software development and to secure Sweden’s future competitiveness.
What we want
Swedsoft wants to strengthen Swedish competitiveness, innovation capacity, research and education regarding software development and development of software-intensive products, systems and services. We also want to increase knowledge about software in society in order to increase the understanding and interest in software in Sweden.
What we do
The association’s work for each year is based on the business plan decided by the members at the autumn meeting at the end of the year before. Swedsoft’s strategic business plan determines the vision, mission, and strategic direction that Swedsoft will take in 2024 and onwards.

Swedsoft’s mission is to contribute to increased knowledge of the role of software and to promote software-based growth and increased competitiveness in industry, academia, and society.
