”ICES invites to an information meeting about the effort to start a competence centre on Complex Software Intensive Systems (COSIS). We are now searching for additional interested partner companies that would like to participate in the research and networking activities within this area. You are most welcome to this information meeting.

The proposed competence centre, COSIS, will focus on systems engineering methodologies, and processing environments (in terms of architecture, programming models and algorithms), to enable and ensure safety, security and resilience in large-scale, smart and interconnected (systems of) systems. The preliminary program has been selected by Vinnova for a final qualifying round where they will select up to 8 competence centres for financing.

COSIS gathers the forces of world-wide leading academics and industrial partners from manufacturing, telecommunications, defence and transportation. The research effort will lead to substantial new knowledge, required for innovative new products and services for the involved industrial partners and lead to improved procurement and management capabilities of public actors. COSIS will stimulate growth in Sweden by forming an eco-system, with tech-transfer, learning networks and collaborations.
