The innovation node in cyber security

The Swedish node for innovation and research in cyber security is a newly started node, founded with the aim of supporting Swedish innovation in IT security. Swedsoft has been involved in the formation of this innovation node to contribute with expertise in software through our members from business and academia.

This is a summary of the Swedish article

The node is financed by Vinnova and coordinated by RISE. In long term, the goal is to increase Swedish exports in the area by supporting the creation of products and services. Martin Bergling, coordinator for the node, tells Computer Sweden that the collaboration will lead to services and products.

– Software and cyber security go hand in hand, in a mutual dependence. Therefore, it was obvious for Swedsoft to be part of the Swedish node for innovation and research in cyber security. Together with other organizations, we hope to contribute to strengthening Swedish competence and research in the field of cyber security, says Gabriel Modéus, Secretary General of Swedsoft.

The node will be officially launched on December 4th.
