Lindholmen Software Development day 2020

On October 8th, Lindholmen Software Development day was arranged for the 16th time with the theme "Beyond 2033 - How will it change my life?". This year’s conference presented many outstanding speakers from all around the world.

The opening keynotes set the bar for the day. Startin with Erik Kruse, Ericsson, on the topic “You ain’t seen nothing yet” and then Kristina Elestedt-Jansson, Head of Cyber ​​Security Fusion Center Gothenburg – HCL Technologies, who spoke about cyber security within the next 13 years..

The day followed with several interesting tracks, with speakers from companies such as SAAB, IBM, Ericsson and Volvo. A new track for this year was “Emerging Technologies” where the speakers included Winfried Wilcke, Senior Manager – IBM Research, who spoke about the third wave of artificial intelligence.

The day ended with Staffan Truvé from Recorded Future (who was a STEW keynote speaker a few years ago) summing it up with “back to the future – software development in 2033 and beyond”. Here he looked back and then into the future and gave his predictions.

The day is a collaboration between Swedsoft, Ericsson, Högskolan i Halmstad, Volvo Cars, Volvo Group, Cybercom Group, Combitech Sverige, HiQ, Business Region Göteborg AB, IBM, WirelessCar, Lindholmen Science Park AB, Sigma IT Group, Chalmers tekniska högskola & Göteborgs universitet.
